Stratford–upon-Avon: Cruise on the river Avon, visit William Shakespeare’s, birthplace or sit and watch just one of his many plays in The Royal Shakespeare theatre. If history is your thing then Stratford is compact and gives you the option to stroll leisurely round the many churches, lanes, and historical buildings Stratford is able to offer. Stratford can offer good retail therapy as well with its diversified shops offering taste for all. For the family there is the Butterfly farm or a well deserved trip on the open top buses to introduce you to the Shakespeare experience and the local surrounding area. At some time during both day and night all you will want to do is get wined and dined and Stratford has a selection of restaurants, bars, pubs clubs and tearooms second to none.
